AMBASSADOR NGUYEN HONG THACH MET THE UKRAINIAN PARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP GROUP WITH VIET NAM
Ambassador Nguyen Hong Thach had a meeting with the Head of the Ukrainian Parliamentary Friendship Group with Viet Nam
On June 1, 2022, at the headquarters of the Embassy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Viet Nam to Ukraine Mr. Nguyen Hong Thach had a meeting with Head of the Ukrainian Parliamentary Friendship Group with Viet Nam Mr. Bragar Yevheniy Vadimovich.

At the meeting, Mr. Bragar briefly informed the Ambassador about the recent situation in Ukraine, particularly the war and some policy directions of Ukraine in the coming time. He suggested to organize an online meeting between the two Parliamentary Friendship Groups between Viet Nam and Ukraine, thanked Viet Nam for its recent humanitarian assistance, and looked forward to continuing to receive further support from the State and the people of Viet Nam to help the people of Ukraine who were now facing multi difficulties due to the war.
In his return, Ambassador Nguyen Hong Thach shared the hardship faced by the people of Ukraine. He affirmed that Viet Nam always did its best to help Ukrainian people who were traditional friends of Viet Nam. Viet Nam consistently supported peaceful resolutions of all conflicts. He expressed his belief that relevant parties would soon find a political and diplomatic solution to the current crisis.
The two sides agreed to resume cooperation activities in accordance with the situation./.
